State Basketball 2011

Adam and I were able to go to Boise this last week to watch Adam's brother Logan play in the State Basketball Tournament with his team the Firth Cougars...Firth went into this tournament going for their 5th straight State Championship...but it wasn't ment to be......

THeir first game was on THursday night against New Plymouth.

Firth did not play like themselves and all...:(

THey lost it was heartbreaking to see these boys dreams knocked out of the picture.

But..

There was still the Consolation Round.

So Friday afternoon they played Kamiah, which is the team that they played last year for the
STate CHampionship, and played a great game and won...:)

Saturday Morning they played Mcall-Donnally for the Consolation..This game was intense and Firth really played one of the best games I have ever seen them play this year...I was so proud of Logan, He played great defense and had some great shots...and with 6 seconds left in the game Firth was down by 2 pt and had the ball...Kory..Logan's best friend got the ball and threw a hail mary 3pt shot and made it right when the buzzer went off....:)

All i can say is that several of us might have peed our pants just a little with all of the jumping up and down we were doing...

WE had fun but I am so glad to be home and have Izzy back again...:)
