Kerry's Home

So on the 9th of September Adam, Me, Izzy, Mom and Dad headed down to Salt Lake City so Kerry and I could practice our song, Kerry is my younger brother who has been on a mission in south slc for the last two years, in his mission they have a testimony meeting for all of the departing missionaries the night before they are sent home, the testimony meeting was on the 10th of sept. Kerry's mission president asked if Kerry and i would sing a song at this testimony meeting, when i was asked i was a little hesitant because last time i sang with my brother i balled like a baby but i said i would do it so we left on the 9th so kerry and i could practice. We got to the meeting place around 9pm and quickly ran through our song with out any accompaniment. Kerry got a glimpse of Izzy and smiled a huge smile........

The next day the 10th we went to kerry's mission home and was able to practice the song with the piano player. It sounded really good.... We were able to take kerry with us for the rest of the day until 5pm. My best friend from high school Jessica Hansen was going into the MTC that day so we were able to meet up and have breakfast and chat for a little while, it was so good to see her i am so excited she is going on a mission.... the rest of the day until we had to return kerry he napped he was so tired..........at 7pm was the testimony meeting there was a lot of people there and they all wanted to meet elder beard's family. The singing went really well i think and everyone commented on it.

The next day the 11th kerry was officially released to us, we drove down to payson and saw some cousins we had a great visit with them all and relaxed mostly, we ate at tepanyakis it was so good.................

On the 12th dad had an appointment with an eye specialist in slc mom took izzy with her and kerry, adam and i were able to do a session in the slc temple it was wonderful............

So Kerry is home and he is doing so good, he bought a car and is hanging out with some old friends, he loves Izzy and seems to be adjusting well.........
